- As agreed in th? January 2, 1987 meeting with you and other NRC representatives,, enclosed is additional information regarding the steam generator ttee strest, relief (U-bend heat treatment) being performed at Sequoyah Nuclear Plaat units 1 and 2.

Enclosure 1 provides two copies of WCAP-11378, " Row 1 and Row 2 Heat treatment Licensing Report for Sequoyah Units 1 ar.d 2," Proprietary Class 2 (Froprietary), prepared by Westinghouse Electric Corporation dated January 1987.

Enclosure 2 provides two copies of WCAP-11379, " Row 1 and Row 2 Heat Treatment for Sequoyah Units 1 and 2," Proprietary Class 3 (Nonproprietary),

p:'epared by Westinghouse dated January 1987.

Additionally, enclosure 3 provides the Westinghouse Application For Withholding, CAW-87-007, accompanying Affidavit , and Proprietary Information Notice. ~

As this submittal centains information proprietary to Westinghouse, it is supported by an affidavit signed by Westinghouse, the owner of the information. The affidavit sets forth the basis on which the information may f be withheld from public disclosure by the Commission and addresses with specificity the considerations listed in paragraph (b)(4) of Section 2.790 of the Commission's regulations.

Accordingly, we request that the information which is proprietary to Westishouse be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR Section 2.790 of the Commission's regulations. Correspondence with respect
