REVIEW 0F FINAL RULE CONCERNING PRESSURIZED THERMAL SH0CK The Division of Rules and Records concurs on the final rule that would amend Part 50 to establish a screening criterion for pressurized water reactor vessels during pressurized thermal shock events. We have enclosed a marked copy of the final rule that sets out minor corrections.
As we discussed in our telephone conversation on November 26, I am enclosing the standard NEPA statement that is used for a rulemaking action that meets the requirements for a categorical exclusion.
You should verify that the NUREG documents and Secy papers mentioned in the footnotes of this rule are actually in the Public Document Room.
