Attachmi:nt 1 to W3F1-99-0042 Page 1 of 2 Information on ISI Weld 15-010 This weld is the Pressurizer surge line branch connection weld. The weld received a magnetic particle examination along with a limited ultrasonic examination. The ultrasonic examination was conducted using a 45-degree shear wave. The scans are limited due to the branch connection configuration. The coverage is as follows:
Clockwise circ scan: 100%
Counter clockwise circ scan: 100%
' Upstream axial scan: 0%
Downstream axial scan: 100%
Total coverage: 75%
Information on ISI Weld 19-008 This weld is a stainless steel Safety Iniection pipe to valve weld. The weld received a liquid penetrant examination along with a limited ultrasonic examination. The ultrasonic examination was conducted using a 45-degree shear wave augmented by a 60 degree RL wave. The scans are limited due to the v/ eld material and the valve and weld contours.
The coverage is as follows:
Clockwise circ scan: 100%
Counter clockwise circ scan: 100%
Upstream 45-degree axial scan: 50%
Upstream 60-degree axial scan: 60%
Downstream axial scan: 0%
Total coverage: 65%
