NRC INSPECTION REPORT 50-003/98-019
Dear Mr. Blind:
On February 22,1999, the NRC completed an inspection at the Indian Point Unit 1 reactor
facility. The results of that inspection were discussed with members of your staff at the exit
meeting held on December 2,1998 and by tele-conference on February 22,1999. The
enclosed report presents the results of that inspection.
During the three-month period covered by this inspection period, your co iduct of activities
during the limited decommissioning at the Indian Point Unit 1 facility was safety focused.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice,," a copy of this letter and its
enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
