NRC does not designate its positions Special Sensitive, Critical Sensitive or Noncritical Sensitive under Chapter 731 of the Federal Personnel Manual.

2.

NRC does not designate its positions as sensitive as contained in Executive Order 10450. NRC uses position sensitivity criteria (categories of functions) based on subsection 145f of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, and approved by the Commission. The position sensitivity criteria are used to identify categories of functions which would make a position one of a high degree of importance or sensitivity, critical sensitive or noncritical sensitive.

3.

All NRC positions require an NRC access authorization or employment clearance and are granted access to classified information or may be granted access to classified information providing the incumbent has the proper level of access authorization and a "need-to-know".
