Dear Mr. Anderson:
We perforined a completeness review of the requested portions of the preliminary design documents for the Mexican Hat, Utah', UMTRA site, submitted by your office on January 27, 1987. The areas that you asked us to review were primarily geotechnical and surface water hydrology related. Our completeness review indicated that the geotechnical and seismic portions were not sufficiently complete to warrant a review by the URF0 staff. Our review of these portions will be deferred until the final design documents are submitted. The surface water hydrology sections were deternined to be complete and the review is in progress.
Our specific coseents on the surface water hydrology will be forwarded as soon as our review is complete.
