Modification No. 8 to Task Order No.15 under Contract No. NRC-04-95-065 The purpose of this modification is to (1) add within scope work to the Statement of Work in accordance with the contractor's letter dated 02/22/99 and the attached pages, (2) increase the ceiling by $14,200 from $209,512 to $223,712, all of which represents the reimbursable costs, and (3) increase the obligated amount by .$14,032 from $209,512 to .

Task 5 1 The contractor shall prepare summary reports for four public meetings related to the revision of the regulations in 10 CFR Part 35 - Medical Use of Byproduct Material.

Subtask 1.

The contractor shall review the transcript of the NRC's meeting with medical specialities boards I scheduled to be held on February 17-18,1999, and prepare a draf t and final report based on the transcript of the meeting. The reports shall categorize and summarize the comments and '

recommendations of the boards by subject areas agreed to by the NRC Technical Project

' Manager (TPM).

Subtask 2 The contractor shall attend the ACMUI Diagnostic Subcommittee meeting to be held on February 23-24,1999, at the NRC offices located in Rockville, MD, and prepare a draft and final  :

report. The reports shall categorize and summarize the comments and recommendations of the ACMUI Diagnostic Subcommittee by subject areas agreed to by the NRC TPM.

Subtask 3 The contractor shall attend the ACMUI Therapy Subcommittee meeting to be held on February 26,1999, at the NRC offices located in Rockville, MD, and prepare a draft and final report.

The reports shall categorize and summarize the comments and recommendations of the ACMUI Therapy Subcommittee by subject areas agreed to by the NRC TPM.

Subtask 4.

'The contractor shall review the transcript of the NRC's ACMUI meeting scheduled to be held on March 24 25,1999, and prepare a draft and final raport based on the transcript of the meeting. The report shall categorize and summarize the comments and recommendations of the ACMUI by subject areas agreed to by the NRC TPM.

Section 4.0 DELIVERABLES AND SCHEDULES Task 5 The contractor shall prepare summary reports for four public meetings related to the revision of the~ regulations in 10 CFR Part 35 - Medical Use of Byproduct Material.

Subtask 1 No later than eight working days after the contractor receives the transcript of the meeting of the medical specialities boards from the NRC TPM, the contractor shall deliver a draft report to the NRC TPM.

No later than ten working days after the NRC TPM receives the draft report from the contractor, l the NRC TPM shall provide the contractor with comments on the draft report. l No later than five working days after the contractor receives the NRC TPM's comments on the draft report, the contractor shall provide a final report to the NRC TPM.

Subtask 2 No later than ten working days after the completion of ACMUI Diagnostic Subcommittee meeting, the contractor shall deliver a draft report to the NRC TPM.

No later than seven working days after receipt of the draft report from the contractor, the NRC TPM shall provide the contractor with comments on the draft report.

No later than five working days after the contractor receives the NRC TPM's comments on the draft report, the contractor shall provide a final report to the NRC TPM.

Subtask 3 No later than ten working days after the completion of ACMUI Therapy Subcommittee meeting, the contractor shall deliver a draft report to the NRC TPM.

No later than five working days after receipt of the draft report from the contractor, the NRC TPM shall provide the contractor with comments on the draft report.

No later than five working days after the contractor receives the NRC TPM's comments on the draft report, the contractor shall provide a final report to the NRC TPM.

Subtask 4 No later that six working days after the contracto" receives the transcript of the ACMUI meeting from the NRC TPM, the contractor shall deliver a draf t report to the NRC TPM.

i 5.0 PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE The period of performance for Task 5 shall be from the effective date of this modification to April 30,1999.
