Enclosed is an export license application from the Department of Energy for the export of TMI fuel rods and debris to various countries for analysis and ultimate disposal as waste. Letters of assurance are required that the material will be subject to all of the tems and conditions of an agreement for cooperation. Your assistance in obtaining the necessary assurance letters from the various countries will be appreciated. Please note that the material is of Canadian origin.
