Enclosed is an application for an export license (XSNM03076), recently received by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, for the export of low-enriched uranium, for use as reload fuel in the Sendai Nuclear Power Station, Unit No. 2, in Japan. Assurances from Japan are required that the material will be subject to all of the terms and conditions of an agreement for cooperation.

Your assistance in obtaining the necessary assurances will be appreciated.

Please note that the materialis of Canadian origin source material.
