The Babcock & Wilcox Company, Commercial Nuclear Fuel Plant will shut down fuel fabrication activities this summer from June 15 through August 31 inclusive.
There will not be any fabrication work or SNM movement during the shutdown period except as described in Reference 2 (copy attached).
As a result, we are requesting that the license condition written as Attachment I to this letter be approved for the shutdown period regarding the Fundamental Nuclear Materials Control Plan related activities.
This condition is similar to that issued for the 1983 summer shutdown period.
