  • - Refers to special maintenance not usually performed during normal operations. Most major maintenance is associated with l outages. Examples of special maintenance performed in 1998 include: reactor coolant pump replacement, steam generator tube testing '

and tube plugging. control rod guide tube split pin replacement, and other plant design changes.
