This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. M. E. Murphy of this office
during the period September 22-23, 1988, of activities authorized by NRC

Construction Permit CPPR-123 for.the University of Texas, and to the discussion
of our findings with.Dr. T. L. Bauer at the conclusion of the inspection.

Areas examined during the inspection included mechanical equipment, piping and
i
electrical systems installation; construction progress and schedule update.
Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examination of
representative records, inte: Views with personnel, and observations by the NRC
f
inspector. The inspection findings are documented in the enclosed inspection
i
report.
Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were
identified.
