WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 5, 1988, COMMISSIONERS '
CONFERENCE ROOM, ONE WHITE FLINT NORTH, ROCKVILLE, MARYLAND (OPEN TO PUBLIC ATTENDANCE)
The Commission *-was briefed by the licensee (Philadelphia Electric Company) and the staff on the status of the Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station and the licensee's Restart Plan.
Presentations by the licensee were made by the following representatives:
Joseph Paquette Chairman, President and CEO Corbin McNeill, Jr.
Executive Vice President - Nuclear l
Dickinson Smith Vice President - PBAPS Chairman Zech emphasized to the licensee that the Peach Bottom reactor operators should be reminded of their commitment to safe i
plant operation.
Chairman Zech also requested the licensee to assure that corporate and plant management remain aware of plant activities and continue their commitment to excellence.
The Commission requested to meet again with the licensee prior to I
restart of the Peach Bottom plant.
