Dear Sir:
In accordance with the Section 50.64 of the Code of Federal Regulations on Energy, Section (C), Implementation, we submit to your office a written proposal for meeting the requirements of paragraph (b) (2) of the said section.
1.
According to the latest information from the Department of Energy our facility will receive funds for the LEU fuel fabrication in the fiscal year 1987-88. No certification to this fact, however, yet has been issued to the UMR Reactor facility.
2.
Currently, the staff is revising the licensing documents to reflect the conversion to LEU fuel. The expected date of their submittal to the NRC is August 31, 1987.
3.
Applicatica for the authorization to convert to LEU fuel will be sub-mitted to your office on or about August 31, 1987 also.
