50-296 BROWNS FERRY NUCLEAR PLANT (BFN) - RESPONSE TO REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION CONCERNING IN. SERVICE SYSTEM PRESSURE TEST PROGRAM The above mentioned request for information was dated September 19, 1988.
That requwst required a 30 day response.
However, as a result of a teleconference with members of the NRC staff on September 22, 1988, NRC has determined th d the data requirements necessary to support the safety evaluation are available and that the first five of the six items contained in the request for additional information are no longer necessary. Dave Moran of the NRC staff informed BFN Licensing of this determination during a subsequent teleconference on October 17, 1988.
TVA's response to item 6 in the original request for additional information has been preparad and will be submitted by October 28, 1988.
