Enclosed for your staff's review are ten (10) copies of the VEGP Unit 1 Preservice Inspection Program, ISI-P-002.

Please note that 38 relief requests have been identified and are included as part of the program. The relief requests identified represent the substantial majority in that the PSI program has been completed except for the steam generator examinations, which are approximately half completed, and the examination of the piping supports which is scheduled for July in conjunction with the hot functional testing. The

' inspections completed to date included the augmented inspection of piping welds in the engineered safety systems. The augmented inspection was performed as committed to by the Project and identified as SER Confirmatory Item 23. Records of this augmented examination program are available at the site for your audit.

The enclosed program supercedes the program submitted to your staff by the referenced letter. If your staff requires any additional information, please do not hesitate to contact me.
