Inspection No. 70-687/86-01 This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Mr. J. Roth of this office on February 10-14, 1986, at the Sterling Forest Research Center, for the purpose of reviewing the licensed program at your facility.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures-and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
Four violations of NRC- requirements were identified. Please reply to these matters in accordance with the enclosed Appendix A. This reply is not subject to clearance by the Office of Management and Budget under the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1980, PL96-511.
