The Governor's Office in Texas is the designated contact for review of federal assistance applications and environmental impact statements (EIS) under Presidential Executive Order 12372. We recently received the Draft EIS for the South Texas Nuclear Project Operation Units 1 and 2, which has been prepared by your office for review.
In summarizing this document, we realized additional time would be necessary to coordinate those Texas reviewing agencies which did not receive a direct copy from your agency.
