Dear Dr. Glover:
J This letter authorizes you to begin field work on Task 2 of contract NRC-04-85-106, confirming the verbal approval given to you on April 14, 1986.
Requirements for Subtasks 1A and IB stated in the contract have been met by the plan for field work given in your proposal and by the draft reports which you submitted and which, after revision, shall be issued as the Task 1 report.
As required by the contract, I request to be notified of the starting date for seismic data acquisition.
I also request that the final plans for seismic field work be included in the Task 1 report, both for the Roancke River traverse and for the portion of the work to be done near Richmond by the Virginia Tech seismic crew. The data needed for those final plans are accurate location maps for the seismic lines as now planned and changes in parameters, if any, that have been made compared to the plan submitted in your proposal.
