Withdrawal of Proposed License Amendments
Dear Mr. Denton:
'Ihe purpose of this letter is to withdraw applications for amendments to Facility Operating License No.
NPF-42 for Wolf Creek Generating Station (WCGS), Unit No.1 originally transmitted by References 1),

- 3) and 8).
Supplemental information concerning the original sulnittals was provided by References 4), 5), 6), and 7).
'Ihe referenced applications requested deferments of certain surveillance intervals to allow continued operation of WDGS until the first refueling outage. However, a forced outage in early April 1986 allowed Kansas Gas and Electric Company to perform the subject surveillances within the required time frame and thus alleviate the neal for these amendments to the Facility Operating License.
