Dear Mr. Mactin,
in response to your letter dated August 14, 1986, in which you requested modification to UNC Naval Products' Fundamental Nuclear Material Control Plan, enclosed please find the amended pages of that Plan. All of the items in the enclosure of your letter have been addressed and changes made accordingly. Additionally, please note the change on Page 1-1 in which the Safeguards Amendment, SG-1, has replaced the reference to the License Amendment for materials and plant protection (MPP).
t I trust you will find these changes acceptable. Should you have any questions on this matter, please contact T. Collopy or J. L'Heureux of my staff.
I do not consider these changes to decrease the effectiveness of the UNC Naval Products' FNMC Plan and are reported herewith in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 70.32(c). I also con-sider this letter and the enclosed Plan to contain information regarding our control and accounting procedures for safeguarding SSNM and, as specified in 10 CFR 2.790(d) are not to be placed in the public document room.
Sincerely yours,
/
