Dear Mr. Keppler:
This letter is in response to the inspection conducted by Messr. J.
L. Belanger and Ms. G. M. Christoffer, Jtily 28, 1986 through August 1, 1986, of activities at LaSalle County Station. Reference (a) indicated that certain activities appeared to be in noncompliance with NRC requirements.
The results of this inspection were also discussed on August 14, 1986 at a Management Meeting between T.,Borzym, B. Saunders and others of CECO Staff and Messrs. J. Belanger, G. pritle and J. Wiebe of the NRC Region III Staff.
The Commonwealth Edison Company response to the three items of noncompliance listed in the Notice of Violation is provided in the enclosure.
