Dear Mr. Isarnero:
This letter provides an update of Philadelphia Electric Company's progress regarding Generic Letter 83-26, " Required Actions Based on Generic Implications of Salem ATWS Events," for Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station.
In the reference 4 letter we stated that we would update you on the status of the new Q-list project by August 29, 1986.
The project now is scheduled to be completed in December 1987.
This is a change in the expected completion date of April 1987 provided to the NRC in the Reference 3 letter.

We do not consider the delay in the Q-list project to be related to our conformance with Generic Letter 83-28.
As stated in previous correspondences, Philadlephia Electric Company has
' satisfied the requirements of Generic Letter 83-28, Position 2.1.
The enhancement of the Q-list goes beyond the requirements of Generic Letter 83-28.
