Power Operation

Dear Mr. Berkow:
In your letter of April 15, 1986 (Reference 1), the NRC requested that PSC provide a summary report of plant operations up to 35 percent of full power concerr.ing observations on control rod drive mechanisms (CRDMs).
PSC agrees to provide data on CRDM temperatures, helium flow to the CRDM penetrations and initial accelerations of the CRDMs in surveillance testing. Due to the amount of data involved and the need to correlate this data to various power levels, PSC will submit this report on or be" ore July 31, 1986.
