l This is to acknowledge receipt of your letter dated March 28, 1986, on behalf l of the Safe Energy Coalition of Michigan (SECOM), in which you supplement the information provided in your Petition pursuant to 10 CFR 2.206 dated February 15, 1986.
Specifically, your March 28, 1986 letter requests that a recent 01 Report regarding a FERMI 2 " July 2 criticality /out-of-sequence control rod pull incident" be considered in addition to those matters indicated in your February 15, 1986 Petition. You also expressed concern that the NRC is not considering your Petition " seriously enough" and asked for assurance that (1)
- your Petition is being reviewed with the utmost care and that (2) there will be public hearings held.
i We are giving serious consideration to the matters set out in your February 15, 1986 Petition. We will also address the July 1-2, 1985 rod pull event. We presently anticipate being able to issue a decision with respect to your requests before FERMI 2 restarts. Whether there will be a hearing with respect I to the issues you raise will depend on the Director's Decision and the nature of any order that may be issued with it.
