Gentlemen:
o By means of this letter we are applying for renewal of license No. SNM-436.
This license was originally issued January 19, 1961, and has been most recently renewed by letter dated December 28,1979. It is due to expire July 31,1985.
License No. SNM-436 was issued to tne Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science for 32 grams of plutonium encapsulated as two 1 Curie Pu-Bi sources for use in educational experiments.
Specifications of activities to be performed, qualifications of personnel, descriptions of equipment, facilities and instrumentation and proposed health physics procedures are explained in detail in my letter of July 7,1980 to Mr. Michael A. Lamastra.
Personnel and procedures have not been changed since that time.
