Dear Mr. Denton:
Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.90, commonwealth Edison proposed to amend Appendix A, Technical Specification, to Facility Operating License NPF-ll and l
NPF-18 in reference (a). This original submittal was amended by supplemental response dated April 29, 1986.
This supplemental response is in reply to questions by your reviewer in an August 4, 1986 telecon. These are addressed in Attachment A.
4 Since these changes are administrative in nature, there is no change to the Significant Hazards Considerations submitted with reference (a).
i Commonwealth Edison is notifying the State of Illinois of our request for this amendment by transmittal of a copy of this letter and its attachments to the designated State Official.

Site OualitY Assurance Superintendent - This position was eliminated at LaSalle when the station changed status from construction to operating unit.

Quality Assurance Coordinator (SNED and OAD) - This position provides support to SNED and OAD to assist in internal paper flow 1
and record retention for their activities. Activities that these organizations perform in support of the station are monitored by the Station Quality Assurance Supervisor or by the Director of Quality Assurance (Engineering / Construction).
c.
Director Training Program Development - This position is obsolete and is no longer filled. The Production Training Manager maintains l
responsibility for accomplishment of this function.

Why was the Manager of Electrical Engineering added to the Corporate Management Chart?
A.
This Manager was added to show the organization since it does provide support to the station. The description of the Station Electrical Engineering Department from the QA Topical Report (following) indicates that they support Station activities through the Station Nuclear l
Engineering Department.
"The Station Riectrical Engineering Department will provide electrical engineering technical assistance to the Station Nuclear Engineering Department, as requested, or assigned 1
