Calvert ClifIs Nuclear Power Plant Unit Nos.1 & 2; Docket Nos. 50-317 & 50-318 IE Bulletin No. 86-02; Static "O" Ring Dif ferential Pressure Switches Gentlemen:
This refers to IE Bulletia 86-02, item 1, which requested a report within seven days that described the extent to which the SOR Model 102 or 103 differential pressure switches are installed (or planned) as electrical equipment important to safety, as defined in 10 CFR 50.49(b). We have reviewed our facility records and find that the SOR Model 102 and 103 switches are not installed nor are they planned to be installed at Calvert Cliffs.
Therefore, in accordance with the bulletin directions, no further action is required on our part.
Should you have further questions regarding this reply, we will be pleased to discuss them with you.
