RECIPROCITY RECOGNITION - CALENDAR YEAR 1998
Dear Mr. Rader:
This acknowledges receipt of your Report of Proposed Activities in Non-Agreement States (NRC Form 241) dated January 19, 1998, and receiat of the initial recognition fee as required by 10 CFR 150.20(b) and 10 CFR 170.31 (Category 16 - Reciprocity).
Youc company was provided with copies of the pertinent regulations, and specific guidance where available, in a package dated December 10. 1997.
Your Florida License No. 2751-2. is recognized as valid for use in Non.
Agreement States and areas of Exclusive Federal Legislative Jurisdiction for ANY 180 DAYS IN CALENDAR YEAR 1998 ONLY.
We have assigned a Location Reference Number (LRN. NRC Form 241. Item 16) to each temporary job site you have reported. Activities which have not been previously assigned an LRN are considered revisions, should be reported on the enclosed NRC Form 241 and marked as a Revision (Item 2).
Revisions should be faxed to NRC Region II three days in advance of the proposed activity, along with a copy of the fee for a Revision.
There is no limit to the number of activities reported at one time, and one fee is charged without regard to the number of activities on Revision.
Revisions will be reviewed and acknowledged including assignment of an LAN for the job location.
Clarifications change already reported information or cancel activities; they recuire no fee. When submitting Clarifications, please indicate the alreacy-assigned LRN for the site.
Whenever a document is submitted by fax, follow up by mailing the original and three copies.
You are responsible for compliance with the applicable NRC regulations while conducting work within areas of NRC jurisdiction. Some NRC regulations may differ from those of your Agreement State.
Your staff who are occupationally exposed to radiation are required to have available to them copies of your license and procedures, and the applicable regulations on the way to or from licensed activities.
We shall notify the appropriate NRC offices, non-Agreement States and areas of exclusive federal legislative jurisdiction of your proposed activities.
