Vermont Yankee Response to NRC IE Bulletin No. 86-02:
Static "O Ring" Differential Pressure Switches By letter dated July 18, 1986 [ Reference b)), the NRC's Office of Inspection and Enforcement requested all licensees to submit a report on the extent to which SOR Model 102 or Model 103 differential pressure switches are installed (or planned) as electrical equipment important to safety, as defined in 10CFR50.49(b). Based upon a review of Vermont Yankee's Environmental Qualification Program documentation, we have determined that Vermont Yankee has neither installed nor plans to install SOR Model 102 or Model 103 pressure switches in any 10CFR50.49(b) applications.
