Dear Mr. Sokolski:
Recently, we received a letter of withdrawal from Combustion Engineering of its application for a license to export nuclear materials to North Korea. A copy of the letter dated February 6,1998 is enclosed. As a result of the withdrawal, no further ection is being taken un the petition submitted by the Nonproliferation Policy Education Center dated January 30,1998, which addressed Combustion Engineering's application.
