VIOLATION
Dear Mr. Gambhir:
NRC Inspection Report 50-285/97-20 was issued January 28,1998, and included a noncited
violation,50-285/9720-02, related to the review and closure of Licensee Event Report
50-285/95-08. This violation had been previously cited in NRC Inspection Report 50-285/95-24
and was reviewed and closed in NRC Inspection Report 50-285/96-16. Since this violation had
been previously addressed, and the error cou)d lehd to potential confusion in future
correspondence, we are withdrawing noncited Violation 50-285/9720-02 and issuing cc ected
pages to NRC Inspection Report 50-285/97-20.
