Keefe, Mir 6I7-424-23 72 January 30,1998 Fitness For Duty Performance Data Summary ofManagement Actions Six Month Period Ending December 31,1997 We tested 31.50 percent of our work force during this six month period. We had a total of 1,29 percent positive tests. The majority of our positives (four) came from pre access testing. Two of these were licensee employees, and two were contractor personnel. One of the contractor pre-access positive tests was positive for both cocaine and alcohol. One licensee positive was identified during random testing.
All four of the pre access positiver. were denied access to Pilgrim for a one yea period.
The two licensee emrk,yees will be subject to follow-up testing for one year, even though their access will be denied.
We tested one person for cause and we performed thirteen follow-up tests during this period.
Integrity checks revealed that there were no sr. cimens having creatinine levels ofless than 200 nanograms per liter.
The total for the confirmed positive test results reflect the number of substances abused, not the number of people tested.
We have instituted a self-assessment program. Some of the topics we have covered were to monitor the number generation of Fitness For Duty selections to assure the randomness of our program and a self-assessment audit to verify and validate all test data that we entered into the computer for a nine month period.
