to hold control rod guide tubes (CBGT )while in transport. W e weight of the support structure and the CPGT's in the containers will be evenly distributed

. over the contact area between the support structure and the inner shell wall of the AP-101. The loading on the inner shell wall can be expressed as:

We total weight of the support structure and the loaded containers is less than 4,000 lbs. W e loading on the inner shell of the AP-101 cask will, there-fcre be:

4,000 lbs = 7.96 psi Sy(30,000 psi)

(yield strength) 3, 502.3 in' This is considerably less than the yield strength of the shell material shown in Table 1.3 of the SAR. W e load can, therefore, be safely transported in the AP-101 cask. W e calculation of the contact area is shown below and represented in the attached Drawing AP-101-O-86142-2. The anti-rotation device is tack i

welded to the inside of the cask, as shown in Detail A of the drawing. his device is installed to prevent inadvertant rotation of the support structure and will not be load bearing.
