November 1997, Maine Yankee submitted a letter to the NRC, advising the position that 10CFR26 no longer applied to Maine Yankee.
Maine Yankee commits to continue with a Fitness for Duty program, though not 4,
to the level of 10CFR26 111.
Lessons Learned No new lessons learned.
IV.
Effectiveness Evaluation The Maine Yankee FF0 program continued to effectively meet both the requirements and intent of 10CFR26. The flexibility of the program enhances the company's ability to effectively ensure the safety of employees and to emphasize the importance of the FFD program.
