STRUCTURAL 1.
For location 1 Welds, show that the finite element model satisfies the equilibrium condition based on the applied loads and the resultant forces at nodal points 1 and 13.
2.
For location 3 Welds, the configuration for the weld evaluation is not satisfactory. The intermittent fillet welds are effective in resisting direct shear forces only. They are not effective in resisting rotation and the tear due to plate bending. Revise the application to take these concerns into consideration.
OPERATING PROCEDURES 1.
Step 8.kk. should cite 10 CFR $71.87(i) rather than $71.87(h).
2 Pages 8 and 9 should show a revision nurt>er other than "0" to indicate they have been revised.
