Dear Ms. O' Leary:
I am pleased to learn that Jason Doukas, a member of Troop 430, has completed the requirements for the rank of Eagle Scout, highest honor in Scouting and one achieved by fewer than two percent of all Scouts.
Since its founding in 1910, the Boy Scouts of America have provided outstanding training in physical fitness, outdoor skills, citizenship and service. Many of our nation's govemmental, business and professionalleaders were Eagle Scouts.
I I know that Jason's parents and all of you who are Scout leaders are proud of the record Jason has rnade in reaching this milestone. The forthcoming Court of Honor on March 21 will be a memorable occasion. I regret that I will be unable to attend.
