November 5, 1997 AGREEMENT STATE PARTICIPANT FOR THE INTEGRATED MATERIALS PERFORMANCE EVALUAT!ON PROGRAM (IMPEP)
The Offices of State Programs and Nuclear Material Safety and Safeguards staff will be holding the annual orientation and training program for the IMPEP review team members on December 2 3,1997 in Rockville, Maryland. A draft agenda is enclosed. We request that all participants on IMPEP reviews attend the first day. Also, a second day has been scheduled for team leader training. This second dcy is optional for State personnel. A list of Agreement State participants identified by the Organization of Agreement States is also enclosed.

Alternatively, you may take the Metro (Train) from Washington National airport to the Metro Center Station then transfer to the " Redline" and exit at the Twinbrook Station for the hotels.
COURSE: The training starts at 8:00 a.m. on Tus3 day, December 2,1997 and will end at apprcximately 4:45 p.m. On Wednesday, the tra..ing will start at 8:00 a.m. and will end at approximately 3:00 p.m.
EXPENSES: State participants in this workshop will be reimbursed for expenses in accordance with Federal travel regulations. A voucher will be provided to you during the training. Receipts are necessary to claim any expenses of $75.00 or more. Telephone calls will not be reimbursed by NRC. The per diem rate for Rockville is $124.00 for lodging and $42.00 for meals and miscellaneous expenses.
