Response to NRC Generic Letter 96 01, " Testing of Safety Related Logle Circuits" Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station License No. DPR 28 (Docket 50 271)

Generic Letter 96-01, Reference (a), requested licensees complete certain actions prior to startup from the first refueling outage commencing one year after the issuance of the letter.

In response to the Generic Letter, Vermont Yankee previously transmitted the following correspondence:

Reference (b) which described a proposed action plan and schedule for completion.

Reference (c) was submitted to provide subsequent !aformation as follows:

1. ' completion notification for the logic review required by Reference (a),

2.

a revised schedule for implementation of surveillance procedure modifications resulting from the logic review, and 3.

a revisod schedule for the final completion response requested by Reference (a).

This letter provides the confirmation of completion for the surveillance procedure modifications and the final completion response requested by Reference (a). The procedure revisions resulting from the logic review have been comploted and all procedures issued. Testing to satisfy technical specification requirements has been performed.
