The enclosed Ford Nuclear Reactor Security Plan is submitted to the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission as a 10CFR50.90 amendment to the reactor operating license. Revised sections take account of decreased security requirements due to conversion to low enrichment uranium (LEU) fuel and slight changes in our organization. Our current plan, which is based on having more than a formula quantity of high enrichment uranium (HEU) fuel, is classified as safeguards information in accordance with 10CFR73.21.
The revised plan is downgraded to 10CFR2.790 information because of our conversion to LEU. This cover letter can be declassified when detached from the Security Plan and Enclosure 1, Summary of Security Plan Revisions.
This cover letter, Enclosure 1, and Security Plan replace our June 17,1986, submittal in its entirely.
