10 act on a memorandum and order responding to a request by 11 Mr. Camille " Bud" George for intervention in a hearing in a-12 Subpart M license transfer proceeding on TMI Nuclear Station 13' Unit 1.
14 The Commission has approved a memorandum and order 15 as revised on February 11, 1999, at 8:31 a.m., which denies 16 Mr. George's request and dismisses this proceeding, noting i
17 that Mr. George did not satisfy the regulatory provisions 18 governing requests'for intervention and hearing.

4, 1999, memorandum and order that denies the intervenors' l
4 request for schedule adjustments and extensions.

.5 The Commission, with Commissioners Dicus, Diaz, i
6 and Merrifield agreeing, has approved a memorandum and order l
7 which. grants the petition insofar as it grants an extension 8
of the deadline for the intervenors to file their briefs to 9
February 19, 1999, and denies the petition in all other 10 respects.
Chairman Jackson and Commissioner McGaffigan 11 denied the petition for interlocutory review.
