As descril>ed in the enclosed Safety Evaluation, the staff has detemined, with: respect to Relief Request ISI-001, Revision 6.-that the requirements of the Code are impractical for the identified items and relief is granted pursuant to 10CFR'50.55a(g)(6)(1). The l

relief granted is authorized by law, will not endanger life, property, or the 4

-common defense and security, and are otherwise in the public interest, giving' due consideration to the burden upon the licensee that could result if the requirements were imposed.

This completes the review of Relief Request 151-001, Revision 6 for the first ten-year inservice inspection at Waterford Unit 3 under TAC No, M99005.
