Dear Mr. McGimpsey:
Thank you for your letter dated October 22,1997, in response to the Notice of Nonconformance that was issued by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) on September 26,1997, as a result of an NRC inspection of NUS Instruments, Inc., (Inspection Report 99901320/97-01).
t We has a reviewed your reply and found it responsive to the concerns raised in the Notice of Nonconformance. We will review the implementation of your corrective actions during a future inspection to determine that full compliance has been achieved and will be maintained.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.700 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of this' letter will be 9 placed in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR).
