Dear Mr. Molins:
Per your request, I have attached a copy for Mr. Benito Gil of two draft NUREG/CR's related to the ATHEANA project. One is entitled," Frame-of-Reference Manual for ATHEANA: A Technique for Human Error Analysis." The other is "A Technique for Human Error Analysis
- (ATHEANA) Implementation Guidelines.". These draft documents are being made available to -
you pursuant to the bilateral agreement on PRA research between se U.S. and Spain.
As I mentioned, both of these documents will be modified extensively over the next few months as a result of our test application of ATHEANA with the Seabrook nuclear power plant PRA. I expect to publish these revised NUREG/CR reports early in calendar year 1998. You will
- receive these documents as soon as they become available.
I look forward to getting feedback on your review of these reports and Spain's application of ATHEANA so that we can continue to upgrade human reliability assessment methods. Perhaps this effort will prove to be of mutual interest and benefit within the context of the COOPRA program.
