COMMENTS:
I I approve the staff soliciting input from the industry and other stakeholders regarding viable and nonviable candidates for performance-based initiatives in fora it deems appropriate.
The high level approach as discussed by the staff is appropriate given the staff's l
limited experience with performance-based approaches. It allows for adjustments j
in the development of a performance oriented regulatory framework as new i
insights are gained without involving the Commission in unnecessary detall.
As a result of the consolidation of AEOD functions into other offices, staff should ensure appropriate use and coordination of resources in the development of the
]
plan.
