INTEGRATED MATERIALS PERFORMANCE EVALUATION PROGRAM (IMPEP) REVIEW OF NEBRASKA RADIATION CONTROL PROGRAM This memorandum transmits to the Management Review Board (MRB) a proposed final report (Attachment 1) documenting the IMPEP review of the Nebraska Radiation Control Program.
The review of the Nebraska program was conducted by an interoffice team during the period September 21-25,1998. The team issued a draft report to Nebraska on October 28,1998, for factual comment. Nebraska sent factual comments by letter dated November 23,1998 from Gina Dunning, Director, Health and Human Services Regulation and Licensure (Attachment to 4
proposed final report).
Based on the findings, the review team recommends to the MRB that all common and non-common performance indicators be found satisfactory. Additionally, the team recommends that Nebraska's program, as a whole, be considered adequate to protect public health and safety and compatible with NRC's regulatory program.
