In the area of typographlca; errors, GE-Val has corrected the units from pCi/gm tc pCi/gm fer Cs-137 in the stream bottom and for gross alpha and gross beta vegetation action levels. The environmental action levels were discussed in the RIV Inspection Report 70-754/96-02 dated December 2,1999. The updated paragrapn 1.5.11 indicates the closing, but rot ,

decommissicning, of Building 300 (Building 300 is licensed by the State of Califomia).

Organizational component descriptions were rearranged and renumbered. The licensee added a reference to the Region IV Walnut Creek Field Office. The ventilation air throughput has been updated from " max.18,500 cim' to " nominal 27,000 cfm." Units were added to discharge levels of liquid water waste (excluding seqitary waste) for gross alpha and gross beta-gamma (uCl/ml).

ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW Based on the information subtr.itted by GE-VAL, these changes are considered administrative and organizatiotialin nature. The staff has determined that !5e proposed changes do not adversely affect the public health and safety or the environme 't and are categorically excluded from the requirements to perform a site-specific environmental assessment. Therefore, in 9802250006 980212 PDR ADOCK 07000754 C PDfi l
