CONFIRMATORY ORDERS PROHIBITING INVOLVEMENT IN NRC-LICENSED ACTIVITIES (EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY)
This is to inform the Commission that Confirmatory Orders Prohibiting involvement in NRC-Licensed Activities (Effective immediately) will be issued on or about January 27 1999, to March Metalfab, Inc. and Messrs. Randall Allmon and Brian K. Rogers. The acti are based on an NRC investigation which concluded that Mr. Allmon, Project Manager, Mr. Rogers, Quality Assurance Manager, deliberately violated 10 CFR 72.11 which pr submission ofincomplete or inaccurate information, and 10 CFR 72.12, which prohibits deliberate misconduct that causes a licensee, contractor, or subcontractor to be in violation Commission. The NRC concluded that the individuals delib NRC and the prime contractor that were inaccurate concerning intemal welding of a s fuel cask. The Orders prohibit March Metalfab, Inc., and the individuals from engagin NRC-licensed activities for a period of 5 years, except for completion of a small pend contract for plug assemblies which have a limited safety function that can be verified.
