Notice of Change in hiedical Condition of Two Licensed Operators
Dear Mr. Ileach:
in accordance with 10 CFR 55.25 Toledo Edison notified the Nuclear Regulatory Commissian (NRC) of a change in medical condition oflicensed operator hir. Craig A. Gillig, Docket Number 55-30883, License Number SOP-30943-1 by letter dated August 28,1997 (Serial 1-1135). Also, Mr. Craig S. Strumsky, Docket Number 55 31717, License lw er SOP-31289 had a restriction placed on his original Senior Reactor Operator License dated June 9,1993. The medical conditions reported, no longer exist and it is requested that the NRC remove the j
restriction from both operators' licenses. These license restrictions have been removed Io j
administratively as discussed with Mary Ann Ilies of your staff on January 27,1993. Revised Medical Certifications (Form NRC 396) for Mr. Gillig and Mr. Strumsky are attached. Details concerning the medical conditions are considered confidential and are available onsite for NRC review.
