Meeting Summary Millstone 3 ICAVP Nuclear Regulatory Commission / N <theast Utilities / Sargent & Lundy February 17,1998

Purpose:

The purpose of the me ting was to discuss technical issues related to Calculation 230E. This calculation determines if cdequate voltago is available across the relays v,d starter coil of the Charging Pump & Component Cooling Water Pump Area Supply Fan (311VR*FN14A).

l Location:

Telephone conference between parties Summary of Discussion:

S&L discussou the comments made on Nil's response for DR MP3 0671.

There were thwe items of concern addressed in the discussion:

item 1 Changing the taps en the unit substation transformers in order to raise e

the minimum voltage...NU stated thet tuo information required by Sargent &

Lundy can be found in calculation NL 038, attachments B through L. Sargent &

Lundy will evaluate the calculation and determine if the necessay information is in the Attachments.

Item 2 The rated voltage of the typical General Electric CR120B control relay used for 42X is 115 volts not 120 volts... NU will reviso calculation 230E.

Item 3 - The rated no lead voltage of the control transformer is 128 volta... NU will revise calculation 230E.
